Madoko
Academic writing in markdown with LaTeX-quality PDF output.
Madoko is a markdown processor and online editor built for scholarly writing: it extends markdown with citations, cross-references, figures, footnotes, and full LaTeX math, then outputs both HTML and print-quality PDF via LaTeX.
Created by a Microsoft researcher, it targets papers, theses, and technical manuals — documents that normally force a choice between markdown's simplicity and LaTeX's typesetting.
