Dendron
Hierarchical markdown knowledge base inside VS Code.
Dendron is an open-source knowledge management tool that runs inside Visual Studio Code. Notes are plain markdown files organized in a strict dot-notation hierarchy (like project.frontend.auth), which keeps thousands of notes findable.
It layers schemas, backlinks, note references, and instant lookup on top of ordinary markdown files stored in Git, so developers get a personal wiki with the same tooling they already use for code.
